CHRIS BEY, HIJO DEL VIKINGO, WHY NORTHERN ARMORY MISSED BOUND FOR GLORY AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2024-10-28 11:30:00

For those who have asked about Chris Bey, there is no official update.   There is a belief among some talents that he underwent emergency surgery last night on his neck or spine but nothing has been officially confirmed.  Bey was stretchered out after ABC's match against The Hardys.  There was talk last night that perhaps he and Matt Hardy clunked heads in the ring right before Bey was hurt, but in asking around, we are told that did not happen.  We send Bey all the best.  There was a lot of concern for him overnight among the talents and staff.

There is no update on Hijo del Vikingo either as of this writing.  The belief is he suffered an ankle or knee injury after overshooting Trent Seven on a moonsault off the ropes to the aisle and landing badly.

The Northern Armory missed Bound for Glory and last night's TV as their work visas for the United States did not come through in time for the events.  We are told it was a logistical thing and not anything anyone could control.  The Good Hands, who remain extremely underrated, stepped in to fill their roles over the weekend.

Bound for Glory was so full that TNA were selling standing room only seats for the PPV.

Tickets for the 1/19/25 Genesis PPV in Dallas will go on sale on 11/15.

TNA announced the following:

This Thursday's TNA Impact on AXS will feature:

*TNA Champion Nic Nemeth & Joe Hendry vs. Johnny Dango Curtis & Eddie Edwards.

*Ash By Elegance vs. Dani Luna.

*First Class vs. The Rascalz.

*Trent Seven vs. Hijo Del Vikingo.

*Josh Alexander & The Good Hands vs. Eric Young & Jonathan Gresham & Steve Maclin.

*Lei Lee Ying vs. Maggie Moore.
