10/26 NEW JAPAN SUPER JUNIOR TAG LEAGUE RESULTS

By James Kurokawa on 2024-10-26 21:05:00

From Kawasaki Japan:

1 - Shoma Kato and Masatora Yasuda vs. Katsuya Murashima and Daiki Nagai

Nagai forces Yasuda to tap out to a Boston Crab

2 - Tiger Mask and Capitan Suicida and Toru Yano vs. SHO, Yoshinobu Kanemaru and Yujiro Takahashi

Suicida did a springboard plancha onto SHO and Kanemaru to the floor.  Suicida did not even glance at his target.   Very scary.   SHO and Kanemaru could have gotten hurt.

Yano pins Yujiro with a school boy cradle.

3 - Ryusuke Taguchi, Dragon Dia and Tomoaki Honma vs. Hiromu Takahashi, BUSHI and Tetsuya Naito

Naito forces Honma to tap out to a Puma Blanca.

4 - Robbie Eagles, Kosei Fujita and Ryohei Oiwa vs. Clark Conners, Drilla Moloney and Gedo

Oiwa pins Gedo after hitting The Grip.

5 - Shota Umino, Master Wato and Jado vs. SANADA, TAKA Michinoku and DOUKI

SANADA forces Jado to tap out to Skull End.

Super Jr. Tag League B Block Matches:

6 - YOH and Rocky Romero vs. Jude London and Paris De Silva (The Velocities)

YOH pins De Silva after a 3K.

Roppongi Re-Vice earns 2 points.

The Velocities have 0 points.

London and De Silva looked sharp in this match.

7  - The DKC and Ninja Mack vs. Taiji Ishimori and Robbie X

Robbie X pins DKC after the X Express.

Bullet Club earns 2 points.

DKC and Ninja Mack have 0 points.

DKC and Ninja Mack are wrestling as two singles wrestlers in a tag team and having miscommunication.  This will be their story in this tournament.

8 - KUSHIDA and Kevin Knight vs. TJP and Francesco Akira

Akira pins Knight after hitting 2X2.

Catch 22 earn 2 points.

Intergalactic Jetsetters have 0 points.

Good match.   Catch 22 now have a pinfall win over the Tag Champions.

After two nights of the tournament, the top teams are The Intergalactic Jetsetters, Catch 22 and Bullet Club War Dogs.   Maybe TMDK as well, but Fujita is not there yet. These teams seem most likely to win the tournament and have a spot on the Wrestle Kingdom card.  All three teams have been at the top of the Jr. Tag Division and it seems repetitive.   However, I don’t see any other teams being advertised as draws for Wrestle Kingdom.

Thank you for reading.
