THE WWE HALLOWEEN HAVOC 2024 TIP SHEET

By Dave Scherer, Mike Johnson & Richard Trionfo on 2024-10-26 12:01:00

WWE NXT will present Halloween Havoc this Sunday on Peacock and the WWE Network from Hershey, Pennsylvania with a 7:00 PM Eastern start time for the PPV.  Here is our take on what will happen on Saturday.

Trick Williams vs. Ethan Page for the NXT Men's Championship in a Devil's Playground Match

Dave: With the stipulation, I could see Page finding a way to cheat and get his Title back, putting Trick on the chase again.

Mike: Page's job was to set up Trick for his top run.  That needs to continue here.  I say Trick retains.

Richard: This should be the night that Ethan Page wins back the NXT title from Trick Williams, but will we see Trick go 'to that place' that we know Ethan can go to in order to neutralize what Page might do in this match.  Anything goes in this match and Trick will need to do 'that' to keep the title on Sunday night.  I think we will see a different side of Trick Williams on Sunday, and that should benefit his character going forward, but I don't think he still has the title at the end of this show.

Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer vs. Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez

Dave: I have Guilia and Vaquer go over here in strong fashion establishing two contenders to Perez's Title.

Mike: This is the bout I most want to see.  I like the idea of Vaquer getting the pin on Perez to set up chasing the belt.  This should be a lot of fun.

Richard: This is the match that I am most interested in on this card and I think it should be the final match of the night.  You have two of the newest stars on the brand in a match against the champion and her friend/enemy.  Somehow, two of the most disliked people on the roster are defending the brand against Giulia and Vaquer.  The alliance between Jade and Perez is unknown as to how loyal they are to each other or do they just have a common goal now with Jade waiting to turn on Perez for a shot at the title.  If Perez is the one to lose this match, I would have whoever pins her face Perez in Philadelphia (and probably do the title change since they are running against Dynamite)  While Giulia has been given the spotlight of the two, I would have Vaquer get the pin.

Tony D'Angelo vs. Oba Femi for the NXT Men's North American Championship in a Tables, Ladders, and Scares Match

Dave: You don't have Tony D go through all of the overcoming of doubt to just lose again here. At least I don't. I would have Femi be in control and get overconfident and put himself through a table or off of a ladder so that he looks strong in the loss.

Mike: My guess is some interference screws Oba out of the rematch.

Richard: Without any assistance from his family members, this should be an easy victory for Oba Femi, but Tony should have a chance with the stipulation.  Will we see an appearance from the walking wounded of the Family, and if so, will they be confronted by the person who attacked Rizzo in the back?  Femi is part of the future of this brand and I thought it was a mistake to have Tony beat him a few weeks ago.  Tony is a good wrestler but the gimmick and the push that the Family has makes me less interested in his work in the ring.  Femi gets a definitive win over Tony and reclaims the North American title.

Kelani Jordan vs. A Member of Fatal Influence for the NXT Women's North American Championship in a Spinner's (Fatal Influence) Choice Match

Dave: Since the odds are stacked against Jordan I think she finds a way to overcome them and retain her Title.

Mike: I am with Dave here.  This should be all about Jordan overcoming the odds.

Richard: Since Fatal Influence gets to choose the stipulation and they want so badly to take the title from Kelani, this has to be a handicap match or a match where the odds are so stacked against Jordan that she HAS to lose.  I think that is what will take place, but despite having what appears to be an unbeatable situation, Kelani Jordan will walk out of Hershey as the champion.  Fatal Influence's biggest flaw is that they are a three person unit in WWE and that means they are incompetent.  Kelani will use her athleticism to outsmart Fallon and friends.

Andre Chase vs. Ridge Holland in an Ambulance Match

Dave: Ridge needs to come out of this one strongly.

Mike: I love Andre Chase, but don't see him winning this one.

Richard: This match screams 'Performance Center special episode match', not PPV match.  Chase wants to get revenge on Ridge for being taken away in an ambulance by Ridge, but will he get the chance on Sunday?  The biggest question for me is where is Thea Hail's loyalty?  Has she had enough of what Chase U has not been able to do and will that make her turn on Chase and join forces with Ridge, in a bit of a Stockholm Syndrome situation.  I think Chase will almost have this won until Thea betrays Chase and sides with Ridge.
