Randy Orton comes to the ring for a promo.  He has words with HHH in Gorilla before he heads out.  Orton cuts a promo saying he's been doing everything he can to get his hands on Kevin Owens but apparently he's off limits.  Nick Aldis said it was over his pay grade so he called out HHH to the ring.  HHH came out.  Orton said everyone knows he is protecting Owens from Orton.  HHH denied it but said the match isn't going to happen.  He said he was trying to protect Orton.  The crowd chanted for an RKO.  Owens was a prize fighter who wanted to take out who was in his way but it was always business.  Owens let his guard down and liked Cody and Orton and he feels they turned on him. He's become disconnected and isn't the same person.  HHH told Orton he just got Orton back from injury and doesn't want to see him back on the injury shelf. Orton said but didn't ask Paul Levesque to come out, he wanted HHH. He implored HHH to make the match as the person who knows what it all means to him and as someone who knows what it was like to have his career taken away.  HHH considered it and made the match for Crown Jewel.

LA Knight out to be special referee.

Andrade vs. Carmelo Hayes ended up a no contest when Knight laid them both out after Hayes accidentally superkicked him going for Andrade.  He declared himself still champ.

Na Jax told Tiffany she got Candice LaRae to fight Naomi for her tonight.

Naomi pinned Candice LaRae.  Indi Hartwell ran Naomi into the ring post but Bayley came out to help.

Lin-Manuel Miranda is in first row.  His new Warriors musical adaptation came out this week.

WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER face off in the ring.  GUNTHER said Cody does things to make things more dramatic then they are.  He declared he's the greatest pro wrestler today in the company and he wants to win to live up to himself.  Cody wants to live up to Dusty Rhodes and John Cena.  He wanted to know what Cody really wants.  Cody said that's the stupidest question he's been asked.  Cody said he wants to be there for the fans.  Cody said his fans are proud to be dramatic.  He asked GUNTHER where he was yesterday because Cody was in Vegas doing the media rounds but GUNTHER couldn't bother to get out of bed to be there.  He's missing the responsibility part of the job.  GUNTHER said he knows responsibility.  He's the workhorse of the company.  He gets the same requests Cody gets has the guts to say no.  He said Cody has to say yes because the second he says no, his story is over.  They went back and forth until Cody struck GUNTHER.  Ludwig attacked and they worked over Cody until Randy Orton made the save.

They aired a long recap on The Bloodline-Jey Uso stuff from Raw.

Motor City Machine Guns defeated DIY.  The Bloodline came to the ring to confront the new top contenders.   Nick Aldis came to the ring to step between them.  Crowd was all over Solo.  He demanded Brooklyn acknowledge him.  He welcomed the Guns to Smackdown.  Chris Sabin said they were ready to take the belts any place, any time.  Solo offered them the title match right now.  Nick Aldis said The Guns have fought for 20 years and given everything to pro wrestling so he wants them to have a fair shot.   The Guns said the belts mean everything to them and they will take the title shot right now.  They rang the bell.

The Motor City Machine Guns defeated The Bloodline to win the WWE Tag Team titles.  Jimmy Uso and Roman Reigns got involved and brawled out with Solo and Jacob Fatu.  There was a ref bump and chairs were brought in but a masked Jey Uso hopped the rail and got involved.  The Guns scored the win and got a ton of Pyro.

After, Jey and Jimmy embraced as Roman looked on.
