It’s Wednesday! You know what that means. AEW is live and on the air. Excalibur, Tony Schiavone and Daddy Magic Matt Menard present the action for us tonight.
We get a video package from Jon Moxley talking about the new paradigm. We still don’t know what his motives are, though. We see highlights of Orange Cassidy telling his friends that he’s not that guy.
A group of AEW wrestlers are in the parking lot, waiting for Moxley and crew. We see what happened during last week’s Christian Cage and Jay White match.
Tony Schiavone brings out Adam Page. Page scares off Tony. Colton Gunn attacks him and throws him from the ring. Colton misses a charge. Page seems to be limping but throws Gunn in the ring and starts to choke him. Jay White and Juice Robinson run out. White with a leg sweep. Page is limping pretty heavily. White vows that Page hasn’t seen the last of the Bang Bang Gang.
Shelton Benjamin w/MVP vs. Sammy Guevara
Lockup, kick by Shelton into a supex. Into the buckles goes Sammy. Sammy with chops but a huge elbow sends Sammy down. Snap suplex by Shelton. Shelton blocks a cutter but a roundhouse kick by Sammy. Moonsault to the floor by Sammy. MVP blocks a tope for Shelton. Belly yo belly by Shelton as we go to commercial.
Shelton with a backdrop. German by Shelton. Another German. Shelton seems to be toying with him now. Rollup for 1 by Sammy. 2 superkicks by Sammy into a jumping knee strike. Tope Suicida by Sammy. Shelton with a German by Sammy lands on his feet and nails a cutter. Shelton kicks out at 1. Enziguri by Sammy. Shelton with a superkick as Sammy jumps off the top rope. Another superkick by Shelton. Running knee by Shelton into an exploder for the pin.

Rene’ Paquette is backstage with Mariah May. May throws Ana Jay’s suitcase in the hall and the 2 start brawling
We see a video chronicling the breakup of the friendship between Kyle Fletcher and Will Ospreay.
Tony Schiavone brings out Kyle Fletcher and Don Callis. Kyle wants to address Ospreay, Kyle pleased with his recent actions. He blames the fans as much as he does Ospreay for what happened. Kyle accuses the fans of calling him the next Will Ospreay when he, in fact, was in AEW before Ospreay. As the fans rail against him, Kyle tells us Callis bought all the TV time he needed to talk. Kyle says he’s only following the Will Ospreay playbook. He calls Ospreay selfish. Kyle says he’ll give Ospreay one chance to face him in the ring next week. He vows to break Ospreay’s neck.
Fletcher shaves his head to prove he’s nothing like Ospreay
Where the hell was this promo last week? Damn Fletcher was great here. Like, a star making promo.
We see highlights of Takeshita and Ricochet fighting at Maple Leaf Pro.
Rene’ is with Richchet. He wants Takeshita and the International title. MVP and Benjamin approach and MVP gives him a business card.
Don Callis has joined the booth.
Brian Cage & Lance Archer vs. 2 Unnamed Guys in makeup
The unnamed guys actually look presentable but this doesn’t last long. Like, 42 seconds

The AEW guys are still in the parking lot. Chuck Taylor confronts Orange Cassidy. Taylor tells Cassidy to step up.
Ladder War the ROH World Title: Mark Briscoe vs. Chris Jericho
We have a brawl at the onset. In to a series of buckles and through a table goes Jericho. Chops by Briscoe. Briscoe with an eye rake. Briscoe sets up a ladder on the floor. Suplex by Jericho. They trade punches and Jericho hits him with a piece of the table. Teeter totter by Briscoe. He lays Jericho across a ladder but misses a tope and breaks the ladder. Jericho tries to make a climb but gets stopped. Jericho drives a ladder into Mark’s face as we go to commercial.
We are back and it’s Jericho climbing the ladder. Briscoe stops him and nails a DVD through a ladder. Briscoe is a bloody mess. Jericho looks to be setting up a superplex. Briscoe throws him down and nails a senton. Mark brings a table into the ring. Jericho climbs the ladder. They slug it out. Briscoe gets knocked off but immediately shakes Jericho off the ladder. Jericho tries a bulldog but gets thrown into a ladder. Briscoe sets Jericho up on a table. Bryan Ketih makes the save for Jericho. Rocky Romero comes in and beats Keith to the back. Froggy Bow off the ladder. Jay Driller. Briscoe tries the climb but Big Bill chokeslams Briscoe to the floor. Bill carries Jericho up the ladder and Jericho pulls down the belt
WINNER AND NEW ROH WORLD CHAMPION CHRIS JERICHO
Tomohiro Ishii comes out to confront the new champion.
We see a video hyping the rivalry between Kamille and Kris Statlander.
Adam Cole comes out. Immediately gets interrupted by Roderick Strong, Matt Taven and Mike Bennett. They talk to him about how Cole has been ignoring them lately. They are proud him for coming back to finish what they started together. Cole wants MJF to come out.
MJF shows up in the video board getting a massage. He says that any member who wins 3 matches in a row gets him at Full Gear. The woman giving the massage is rather…hot.
Kyle O’Riley looks on from the back.
We get Penelope Ford video threatening Jamie Hayter. Jamie is with Rene’. Jamie is upset over Ford’s recent actions and what she’s said about her.

Kamille attacks but Aminata is able to avoid her. Clothesline by Aminata for 1. Rollup by Aminata for 2. Backbreaker for 2 by Kamille as we go to commercial.
We’re back and Aminata is on fire. Snap neckbreaker and a running knee strike for 2. Body lock by Aminata. Surf board submission by Aminata into a Dragon Sleeper. Kamille escapes and thet exchange forearms. Aminata with a rams for 2. Torture Rack slam for 2 by Kamille. Kamille with a reverse DDT for the pin.

Kris Statlander comes out to confront Kamille. Mone with a shot from behind. Statlsnder and Kamille slug it out. Kamille drops her.
The AEW are still waiting for Moxley and crew. The Patriarchy actually shows up and they chase Kip Sabian around the lot. This ends up in the ring as Hook enters the building and says it was the Patriarchy who injured Taz. Sabian saves Cage with a low blow. Cage orders Sabian to stand in the corner. Wayne’s World (Cutter) by Nick Wayne as his ridiculously hot mother looks on. Killswitch by Cage. Cage tells Hook that things arent as they seem.
Private Party & Daniel Garcia vs. The Young Bucks & Jack Perry
We are told there’ll be an over run. The Elite attack immediately
Zay, Quen and Garcia fight back and we have a brawl on the floor
Perry and Garcia are the first legal competitors.
Matthew tags in and Zay punches him, as he tagged in
Nicholas tags in and now Private Party is in there as well
All six are fighting now.

In the parking lot, a pickup truck arrives and MArina Shafir gets out. In the ring, Team Moxley attack Private Party. Moxley drags Chuck Taylor to the ring. They Pillmanize Taylor’s head. Orange Cassidy is the first to arrive to help. The Elite look on. Cassidy is distraught as we go to credits.
