The Hollywood Reporter announced that Eddie Griffin and Paula Abdul will topline a forthcoming pro wrestling action-comedy titled Raging Mid-Life.
The film, which is slated for a 2025 release, tells the story of " two friends who are obsessed with a 1980s wrestler named Raging Abraham Lincoln and set out to acquire his tank top. Their plan takes a turn when a grieving daughter outbids them for the item to fulfill her dad’s dying wish."
The film will make its world premiere in Texas at the Austin Film Festival.
