For the MANY of you who have asked, PWInsider.com has confirmed with multiple sources within the company that ring announcer Samantha Irvin resigned from her position.
Irvin quit the company. We are told WWE was made aware earlier today.

UPDATE 8:30 am 10/21: PWInsider.com is told that a very tiny group within WWE were aware prior to yesterday the departure was likely coming. The vast majority of the company learned yesterday. The word going around among many at Raw was that Irvin had resigned "today."

It was not a case of her being released.
As far as why Irvin opted to exit the company, that still has yet to be confirmed.
