AEW is setting up for Ring of Honor right now.
AEW President Tony Khan came out as the company was setting up the banners for the show.
Khan said that he wanted to mention the passing of Joe Koff earlier this week, describing him as someone who kept Ring of Honor alive. Khan said Koff was always very good to him and his loss this week was a big loss to professional wrestling. Khan said buying Ring of Honor and credited Koff with coming to him about buying it.
Khan said that Koff was looking to keep the company alive and was looking for someone who would keep it in business and keep those who worked there with jobs. Khan said it was his honor to be able to purchase the company and keep it alive. He said ROH runs strong today and it's thanks to Joe.
Khan then led the crowd in Stockton in a "Joe" chant.
