Trick Williams defeated Ethan Page to become the new WWE NXT Champion tonight, defeating Ethan Page in the main event of the first-ever NXT on CW broadcast.
Before the main event, NXT ran a vignette teasing the debut of Australian star Delta. She is slated to debut at Halloween Havoc on 10/27.
Paul Levesque, Lee Fitting, and Shawn Michaels listed as "Executive Producers" for WWE NXT as the episode went off the air.
The censorship of the "Holy sh**" chants tonight was on the CW Network side. We are already hearing complaints from readers about the chants being muted, but if fans didn't curse, they wouldn't need to censor it. At the end of the day, CW isn't looking to have an issue with the FCC over language. They are a broadcast network.
The episode will be available tomorrow on the CW App.
