Long Island's Create-A-Pro Academy will run Bellmore Sunday 10/6 at JFK High School with a benefit for Merrick Bellmore Little League with Brian Myers, Tommy Dreamer and Fandango appearing as well as former New York Mets player Turk Wendell. They will run Crescent City Christian School in Metairie, Louisiana on Sunday 10/6 at 3 PM with Brian Kendrick vs. Luke Hawx vs. Izzy James, h Wildkar Champion Danny Flamingo vs. Superbeast, Jazmoin Allure vs. Promise Braxton vs. Gigi Rey, JTG VS. Brady Pierce, Revolution Champ Nate Blradley vs, Jace Valor and Ryan Davidson vs. Suge Whyte Wildkat Tag Team Champion Slime Szn vs. The Ringworms and more. The promotion is gearing up for a massive event this December.

The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity will be staged in Milwaukee through October and in Fort Worth, Texas next month. The play, which was nominated for a 2010 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, was first produced in Chicago in 2009 and had runs Off-Broadway and in a number of other markets. The production features a wrestling ring onstage as well as Titan-tron like screens for ring entrance videos, but is more focused on the backstage aspects of the business. A number of names that will be familiar to hardcore fans are name-dropped in the dialogue but one doesn't need to be a wrestling fan to understand or appreciate the drama of the story. If you get the chance, I absolutely suggest seeing the show.
