Since the NWA's content on The CW App will be departing this Monday, readers have asked what this means for the next episode of NWA Powerrr, which was slated to feature Thom Latimer challenging EC3 for the NWA Championship as part of the NWA 76. Obviously, it won't be on the CW. PWInsider.com has reached out to a number of sources within the NWA and the basic response has been to stay tuned. So, as soon as we know more, we'll relay it.
The National Wrestling Alliance's NYC debut tonight in Glendale, Queens at The Sacred Heart Catholic Academy has sold out in advance, PWInsider.com has confirmed. The Queens event is slated to feature NWA Champion Thom Latimer vs. Bryan Idol, NWA Women's Champion Kenzie Paige vs. Tiffany Nievez, Kylie Paige vs. Natalia Markova, NWA Midwest Champion Pretty Boy Smooth vs. Donnie Dixon, Sidney Porter vs. Rage, Flex Havoc vs. Papadon vs. Steve Pena plus Aron Stevens, Mims, Wrecking Ball Legursky , The Slime Ballz and more. Former ECW ring announcer Stephen DeAngelis will be ring announcing. There are still tickets left for tomorrow' debut in Melville, Long Island this Saturday 9/28.
The NWA will run a new signature event, Shockwave on 1/11/25 in Forney, Texas.
