P.N. News would start his career in Don Owen's Portland Territory as the Avalanche before moving on to WCW in 1991 where he would win the Rookie of the Year award for 1991 in WCW.
He would feud with Stunning Steve Austin for the WCW Television Title but came up short in his attempt to win the gold.
Later in his career he would show up in ECW for a short period teaming with Da Baldies.
