I’m the kind of guy that would rewatch early ROH but I’m a single parent the doesn’t have the money to spend on another streaming.  Is Ring of Honor still going to be excluded from AEW’s rights deal? I’d love for that stuff to show up on MAX.

Until I see a firm report of what the new TV deal is, I can’t say. It’s all just rumored at this point.

Why do bookers occasionally flip a title back and forth in the same program in quick succession? Do you think it devalues said championship?

It depends on the situation. If it’s two evenly matched people, it can make a lot of sense if it’s not done too often. As with all things in wrestling, if the story warrants it I don’t have any problem with occasional quick flips provided that the talents are equals. Now, when someone wins it on a fluke and then loses it quickly, that can be a negative.

Why did HBK take the belt off Trick Williams only to be positioning him to regain it from Ethan Page only 3 months later? Was it to give the CW NXT launch a major title change?

We shall see if that is the plan but I don’t have an issue with Trick staying in the picture. It makes sense since is the former champ.

If the plan all along is to move Michael Cole back to RAW when it debuts on Netflix, why have Joe Tessitore for just a few months then move him to Smackdown, rather than starting Joe on Smackdown and keeping him there?

There are a few factors in play. One, Tess is new to the business and it makes more sense to let him get his reps on Raw at a time when it is competing against the NFL, plus WWE is getting a much lower fee paid for the fill in spot. Secondly, with Smackdown changing networks, WWE wanted Cole there since he is their GOAT.  It makes perfect sense to me.

Just finished the all Tony Q&A this morning and just have to ask.  Has pretty much everything Punk said to Helwani about AEW/Tony as a whole been proven right?

It depends on who you ask. If you pose the question to a sane, rational adult, the answer would be yes.
