What happened with Keith Lee? A few years ago he was going toe to toe with Roman Reigns at Survivor Series and now he's been largely forgotten in AEW. What's up?
Lee has had some post COVID issues and injuries, but hopefully he can eventually recover and regain that momentum he used to have.
Where's Daniel Garcia?
He hasn't signed a new AEW deal. If he had, I am sure he would have beaten MJF at the last PPV and certainly would be all over TV. As we noted over the summer, there's been WWE interest in him as well.
Every so often, we see promotions bringing in Japanese and Lucha stars, but it never leads to increases in crowd attendance or ratings, so why do they keep bothering?
Well, I don't know the complete details on whether any of it leads to increases in any revenue stream, but there are a few reasons why they "keep bothering." One, they think it's worth it from a creative standpoint. Two, they have partnerships with those promotions and want to be good partners. Three,some promotions book what they like. So, there may be other considerations beyond dollars and cents.
Why hasn't Samoa Joe returned to AEW TV?
He's still filming the second season of Twisted Metal in Canada.
I'm trying to find footage from World Class' final Von Erich Memorial Parade of Champions, specifically the Triple Cage match. Any suggestions?
I have never heard of any of that event being filmed or released. If it was, it would likely be in WWE's video library since they acquired the World Class library. To date, there's been no sign of it that I am aware of.
Why do wrestlers tape up their wrists?
It's done for protection and support of their hands and wrists while they are wrestling as well as a way to prevent the build up of sweat from causing them to slip while executing moves.
