I just finished watching a clip of the NFL documentary on TK the day of the NFL draft. After seeing how Tony responded to the Bears GM & Assistant GM about taking the piledriver, I gotta ask, does Tony actually think it's real? Because the tone in his response came off like he was being serious.
Tony knows it’s worked but he was selling the injury, which to me, in that setting, was even worse than if he thought wrestling was real. To me, he came across like a dope. This is the NFL draft, you don’t sell a worked injury if you want to be taken seriously.
Hi, with rumors of Miro asking for his release from AEW, after what had so much promise but was ultimately a failure of a run, would you like to see him back in WWE? The big caveat is you can't reunite him with Lana given their split, so how would you utilize him?
First off, there is no way I would reunite him with Lana. That is a totally Vince McMahon thing to do and that witch is dead, thank God. If he came back, I would book him as a bad ass, like they are doing with other big, strong men right now. Making him a comedy guy or a flyer is just stupid to me. He’s a big, tough guy. That’s how I would book him.
MVP says Omos can do more agile work than WWE allows. If Omos can do more exciting or even high flying moves, why limit him to the boring stereotypical “giant” moves and prevent him from getting over? A giant flying around would be impressive and a money maker, one would think, right?
To me? No, not at all. If a guy is that tall, that big and can do the moves of a smaller guy, who could realistically beat him? Now, if logic in booking doesn’t matter, sure, let him be a spot machine. But that is something that would happen in AEW, not in HHH’s WWE.
More of a comment than a question for Ask PWinsider in hope that Tony reads this: I have invented the word “STUPSANITY” to describe TK’s booking. It is stupid insanity!! That ALL Out garbage is inexcusable! There is no doubt in my mind that Tony watches WWE network. The “This Week in Wrestling” (not sure on the name) that we get on the app in Canada, had the Clash 8 where Slater and Muta worked Sting and Flair. The match ended with a DQ where Slater put a bag over Flair’s head. Of all the angles that Tony could reuse, that’s the one he went with??? It wasn’t great then and it’s stupsane now!! Then, factor in the unprotected chair shot in the main and this dude is outside his damned mind!! Look I get that he can’t use “The Outsiders” name to describe Ponyboy Mox and Sodapop Claudio, so the gear has got to change!! Tony, you’ve got to do better!!
Tony’s booking is so, so……Tony.
