WWE's 12/14 Saturday Night's Main Event return will be a two hour live special, PWInsider.com can confirm.
The special will air at 8 PM Eastern to 10 PM Eastern. On The West Coast, it will air from 5 PM to 7 PM, so it will be live there as well, not tape delayed.
Traditionally, SNME specials on NBC were 90 minute taped specials in the past, usually airing at 11:30 PM Eastern. That will not be the case for these quarterly live specials.
This will be the first live WWE special on NBC since February 1988, when The Main Event aired live from Indianapolis, featuring Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant, Randy Savage vs. The Honkytonk Man and Strike Force vs. The Hart Foundation.
WWE material for the SNME return features Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Liv Morgan, Seth Rollins and Bianca Belair.
