Variety reported today that WWE will broadcast a live NBC special on Saturday 12/14 from The Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, NY.
The special will be a relaunch of the old Saturday Night's Main Event specials. The Nassau event will have an online pre-sale on 9/19.
The first ever SNME special back in 1985, headlined by Hulk Hogan vs. Bob Orton, was taped at the Nassau Coliseum, so WWE is leaning into history here.
WWE's new deal with NBC Universal that brought Friday Night Smackdown to the USA Network includes four live NBC specials.
WWE material for the SNME return features Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Liv Morgan, Seth Rollins and Bianca Belair.
