WHAT STARTED AEW’S DOWNHILL SLIDE, WHY SOME TALENTS NEVER GET PAST THE STARTING GATE, DON’T SWEAT THE SMALL STUFF AND MORE

With RAW returning to a 2-hour format, it occurred to me that they didn't say which time slot they would be in. Will it be 8pm-10pm or 9pm-11pm? The latter would make more sense if they're trying to avoid Monday Night Football clobbering them in the ratings. What do you think?

They announced it will be from 8 to 10. I think that is the right move. Raw will start before the MNF game and it will end early into the second half of the game, so viewers that want to watch both can switch over then. It think it’s smarter to go against the first half.

I've noticed the AEW video game is often on sale on the Playstation store for an incredibly low price.  Do you know how the game did in terms of sales and revenue, and based on that, do you think the game has been a success or failure?

I am not the biggest gamer (OK, I am not a gamer) but from what I have been told the game was a major disappointment and not the game changer than Tony Khan hoped for it to be.

Been a fan of AEW since the beginning but after last night, I’m done. AEW has finally jumped the shark for me. AEW has an extremely talented roster but resort to playing in the mud. The product has been bad for a while. When do you think the product started going downhill?

I think it started when Cody Rhodes left. He did a lot of smart pro wrestling things that no one took over when he left. It got a lot worse when CM Punk left because he tried to bring some sanity and purpose back to the product, and it wasn’t well received by the kids. Once he was gone, and Tony Khan chose to back the children who were hurting the product with their indyriffic stuff, the product regressed to where it is now.

Dijak seems to be an ideal WWE prototype. He’s big, can wrestle, talks well, cool look, and I thought he was getting over with the NXT audience. Why did WWE not resign Dijak? Is it simply one of those cases where (like in the professional world) sometimes a good employee is just not well liked by the powers that be - leading to unfulfilled promise and a shortened tenure?

I can’t say what the reason was for sure but in my experience if management doesn’t like you, and you aren’t a can’t miss talent, you become expendable.  Sometimes management doesn’t see it in a talent and other times the talent’s attitude and/or how big a pain in the ass they are makes it easy to cut them loose.

Are you annoyed yet with all the increased advertising on WWE since Endeavor took over?

No, not at all. I don’t worry about minutia.
