I was excited to see Scott re-launch Maple Leaf Wrestling. I noticed, however, that he seems to be working with AEW and is seemingly not fond of WWE's relationship with TNA, claiming it wasn't beneficial or something like that, I only saw it in passing. Has Scott drawn a line in the sand and decided to work with Tony instead of HHH? This seems like a mistake to me.

To the best of my knowledge, D'Amore hasn't commented on the TNA-WWE NXT relationship and I think it would be REALLY short-sighted if he did, since we know he's under some sort of separation agreement with TNA and he's always been a pretty smart political player.  I just don't see him nuking the bridge, especially since he's booking TNA talents on the Maple Leaf shows, so what benefit would it give him to knock TNA?

As far as him siding with AEW over WWE, I think you are adding up 1 +1 and getting 55.  AEW allows talents to work outside events.  WWE rarely ever does that unless it benefits them, such as having talents on NOAH to help ABEMA get ratings in Japan or sending NXT talents places to get additional experience.  WWE isn't going to do that with some promotion that has just started out.

Hi guys, avid and loyal reader of the site since inception (20 years?).   I just really have one question, real talk, how much fun are you having reporting on the WWE AEW Plagiarism lawsuit? Enough to earn ships and plunder?

It is CERTAINLY an interesting and perhaps even weird case, but I don't think I am having more "fun" covering it vs. other stories.  It's all part of my job.  I don't know how many ships he's seeking and how much plunder he hopes for - and I'm not sure he even knows! - but we will see.

Have there been any updates on Ted DiBiase Jr.'s Trial? For that matter, why hasn't Brett been sentenced yet? It's been almost a year and half since he plead guilty!

Ted DiBiase Jr. is slated to stand trial in January 2025.  His proceedings were pushed back as the Judge presiding over the case recused himself.  It was never announced, to the best of my knowledge, why.

On March 2, 2023, DiBiase pleaded guilty to one federal charge of conspiracy to defraud the United States and faces up to five years in prison.  There's no word on why he hasn't been sentenced yet.

Hi guys, with JBL appearing at AAA, GCW, and TNA, I was curious about his contract status and overall status with WWE. Did his deal expire? Is he still under a legend's deal? Since WWE has a decent connection with these three companies, is he working for WWE while doing these shows? My guess is no since he's been labeled as John Layfield without the Bradshaw.

He is under a WWE Legends deal and can work any independents he wants, but can't use the Bradshaw name as that's WWE's intellectual property.

Do you guys think that we've reached the point (or at least are getting close to the point) in the TNA/NXT crossover that someone from the other brand is going to need to (or at least should) win something of consequence from the other? I feel like we're past the shock and awe of just surprise appearances at this point. Because we've seen them come in and participate ... but does anyone really logically think that someone's winning a title match? Sure it should be a special story to get there, but it would at least shake things up. And it doesn't need to be one of the big titles. Someone coming to take the Heritage Cup. Or someone from NXT winning the Internet Championship. I would think they'd want something to goose some numbers for the move to the CW, so maybe around that time?

I think TNA is due for a big win for sure.  Whether that happens or not, we'll see.

Is Bruce Prichard being responsible for the Judgement Day stable as well as being the brainchild of the Dominik Mysterio-Liv Morgan-Rhea Ripley storyline the main reason that he still has a job in the WWE much like Michael Hayes is responsible for the Bloodline?

No.
