TMZ.com reported this afternoon that Artem Chingvintsev, the husband of WWE Hall of Famer Nikki "Bella" Garcia, was arrested earlier today for domestic battery in Napa Valley, California.
TMZ noted that specific details are not currently known, but that Nikki was also in the same area Artem was arrested based on her social media.
The couple's relationship and wedding were chroniciled over the course of several WWE reality series on E! The couple met while Nikki was competing on ABC's Dancing with the Stars, where Chingvintsev was paired with her.
Chingvintse is currently still listed as incarcerated with his bail listed as $25,000. He was booked into the Napa Valley Jail at 9:59 AM this morning under California Penal Code Section 273.5(a), which notes, is is "illegal to injure a spouse, cohabitant or fellow parent in an act of domestic violence. This offense is also referred to as domestic abuse, domestic violence, or corporal injury to a spouse."
TMZ noted that reps for Garcia and Chingvintse have not returned requests for comments.
