From Ryogoku, Tokyo Japan:

Another full crowd in Ryogoku.

Taguchi forces Kato to tap out to an Ankle Lock.

The crowd was hot for the greatest hits for the legends in this match.

The commentators spoke of Taichi having a rib injury which kept him out of the G1 tournament this year.

Taichi pins Murashima after a Dangerous Driver.

Eagles pins Akira after a running penalty kick.

4 - TAKA Michinoku, DOUKI and SANADA vs. Drilla Moloney, Clark Conners and Taiji Ishimori

6 - El Phantasmo, Shota Umino, Boltin Oleg, Toru Yano and Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Yoshinobu Kanemaru, Ren Narita, Yujiro Takahashi, SHO and EVIL

House of Torture mess with ELP by giving him a House of Torture shirt.

House of Torture bring in their weapons.   Narita hits ELP with the NEVER belt and tosses it to Tanahashi.  ELP turns and sees Tanahashi with the belt.  He is confused.  House of Torture attacks Tanahashi.

EVIL pins Tanahashi.

EVIL takes the mic and teases ELP if he can trust Tanahashi and Hontai.    They give a chair to ELP and get him to hit Tanahashi.   ELP tosses the chair aside and House of Torture beats up ELP.     Umino and the other babyfaces make the save.

7 - Tetsuya Naito, BUSHI, Hiromu Takahashi and Shingo Takagi vs. Great O-Khan, Jeff Cobb, Callum Newman and HENARE

Takagi was still selling the leg from last evening.

Hiromu pins HENARE with a Hiromu Roll.

HENARE looks completely stunned.  Hiromu laughs in the tv camera.   Hiromu has solidified his spot as the number one contender for the NEVER Openweight Championship.

That should be an awesome match.

Naito spits in O-Khan’s face and clotheslines him on the top rope.   They will meet World Title at some point.

Masahiro Chono is introduced to the crowd.  He has the most G1 titles in history.

Zack Sabre Jr. wins the G1 Climax 34!

Awesome match.   Go back on New Japan World and watch all of Zack Sabre Jr’s matches in this tournament.    Just great stuff.  Zack’s time is now and I would like to see him carry the burden of the company on his shoulders, just like Chono, Tanahashi and Okada did.

Zack looked so happy in the ring as he got the trophy and flag.

Zack says he wants his shot at the World Title at King of Pro Wrestling event on October 14, not at Wrestle Kingdom.    That means if he beats Tetsuya Naito in October, he could head to Royal Quest in the UK as the IWGP World Champion.

Zack put over Shane Haste and Mikey Nichols as they helped him so much.   He said it took 8 years to get here.   He said waiting for January for his title match is too long.  He wants his title match in October and his first title defense in United Kingdom.   He put over Hammerlock Wrestling and his trainer Ogawa.   He repeated his intention to challenge for the World Championship at King of Pro Wrestling on October 14.
