WWE AT FANATICSFEST NEWS & NOTES FROM NYC

By Mike Johnson on 2024-08-17 19:35:00

As previously noted, a number of WWE personalities appeared at today's FanaticsFest at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in NYC.

FOX Sports reported that WWE personalities were the only ones to sell out their signing and photo sessions in advance.   The article also noted, "As Paul "Triple H" Levesque walked into the pop-up 40/40 Club, the crowd lined up to get a glimpse of him was several rows deep, comparable to the reception only Kevin Durant and Travis Scott received. Levesque even surprised fans by emerging to his own music at the company exhibit, which led to a mob following him and his security team."

WWE President Nick Khan was in attendance today.

There was a huge banner promoting Raw moving to Netflix this January.

PWInsider.com is told that in the case of Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair, some fans had to be refunded photo session payments as they ran past their time and had to leave to sit down for a panel discussion.

We are also told Paul Heyman had an incredible discussion this evening as part of the gathering.

The event had signed WWF merchandise from Hulk Hogan and others on display, including a signed seat from Wrestlemania 3's venue, The Pontiac Silverdome.  There was also an attraction where fans could film their own ring entrances and have it sent to them.

Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre, Bayley, The Miz, Logan Paul, Rey Mysterio and Rhea Ripley are slated to appear tomorrow.
