Reviewing the participants of the B Block:
David Finlay is the Global Heavyweight Champion. He may not be a draw yet for the main event of Wrestle Kingdom. However, another undercard babyface like El Phantasmo could be a challenger for his title. With El Phantasmo with no partner, he could be programed against Finlay in the coming months.
Konosuke Takeshita is a surprise at the top of the B Block. I do not see a DDT or AEW start main eventing Wrestle Kingdom, but Takeshita will give Tony Khan something to brag about.
Yota Tsuji could be the man to not only beat Takeshita and Finlay for the B Block, but be in a position to win both New Japan Cup and G1 Climax in the same year.
Jeff Cobb is the New Japan World Television Champion. He did not need to win the G1, since he has a Belt. It will be interesting to see who faces Cobb next for the Title.
HENARE has the NEVER Openweight Title. He should be fine and avoid any more serious injuries.
Hirooki Goto was workhorse in the tournament. He will probably team up with YOSHI-HASHI and be a part of World Tag League this Autumn.
Ren Narita will still have heat as a part of House of Torture. He is limited in his character within this faction. I am not sure what he will have to do to get to the next level.
Yuya Uemura and Boltin Oleg were both hindered by Uemura's injured arm. Oleg has the NEVER Openweight 6 man Title and is being taken care of by Hiroshi Tanahashi. Hopefully, Uemura will return from injury and have a presence in World Tag League or at Wrestle Kingdom.
