A MESSAGE TO THE BCW FAITHFUL:
For over 30 years, Border City Wrestling has made its home here in Windsor, Ontario. From our humble beginnings at LaSalle Arena to our big-budget extravaganzas at St. Clair College, we’ve always strived to bring the best in professional wrestling entertainment to the great people of Windsor and Essex County.
Over the years, the incredible team here at BCW has also presented brands such as Midwest Territorial Wrestling (MTW), Ontario Wrestling Alliance (OWA), International Championship Wrestling (ICW), Maximum Pro Wrestling (Max Pro or MXPW), and Can/Am Rising, as well as helping TNA Impact Wrestling promote some of their biggest events! While the brand name of the promotion has changed over the years, BCW has always been the company behind it all. Now, in 2024, the same great team at BCW is excited to present our latest vision, which we believe will become the greatest wrestling promotion in all of Canada—MAPLE LEAF PRO!
However, rest assured, the iconic Border City Wrestling brand isn’t going anywhere. In fact, I’m excited to announce that, for the first time, BCW is bringing another fantastic local wrestling show to Essex County on September 15th at the 60th Annual Cottam Fall Fair! All your favorite Border City Wrestling superstars will be live in Cottam, Ontario, for a free outdoor show as part of the fair. This event is leading up to the launch of MAPLE LEAF PRO at St. Clair College on October 19th and 20th.
We see this as the best of both worlds. While the more intimate Border City Wrestling-branded shows showcase our great homegrown talent, we will also have larger international events when Border City Wrestling presents MAPLE LEAF PRO. These mega-events will mix our great BCW talent with some of the very best wrestling talent from around the world.
I personally want to thank every wrestling fan who has supported us in any way over the last 30 plus years. We’ve helped launch the careers of so many current-day television superstars and look forward to continuing to do so for many years to come! We’re just getting started, and I can’t wait to go on this ride with all of you.
