WHY WWE IS UP AND AEW IS DOWN, IT’S AMAZING HOW SUPPOSED WRESTLING REPORTERS DON’T ACTUALLY UNDERSTAND THE BUSINESS THAT THEY COVER, MAYBE THE DUMBEST QUESTION I HAVE EVER RECEIVED AND MORE

I saw a supposedly prominent wrestling personality who has been covering wrestling for decades say that Kevin Owens not taking the Title match was the stupidest thing he ever saw in wrestling.  How can someone not understand that KO was showing that he was a babyface with honor?

Someone sent me what that person said (I don’t even want to give him oxygen by name anymore).  To me, there are two reasons that he doesn’t understand what KO did.  One, he is such an uber nerd that he doesn’t realize that pro wrestling is about people fake fighting, it’s not a competition that should be graded by Olympic judges.  The other option is that he just doesn’t have the emotional capacity to understand people having a moral compass.  A heel would take any title opportunity, sure.  A babyface, when booked correctly, would want to earn the shot.  The person in question has shown for years now that he likes a niche version of the business that is viewed by a smaller part of the audience.  He doesn’t understand what the masses like or what the business is actually all about.

SmackDown this past Friday did the best number they've done since 2017 for this week of the year. Meanwhile, Rampage did the second lowest episode in the show's three year history, second only to last week's edition. While SmackDown rises, the show that airs right after goes down. Surely AEW can capitalize on SmackDown's momentum better than this, right?

First I want to say while I don't doubt your figures, I didn't independently check them.  Yes, you would think that if Rampage was actually a good show it would draw at least some of the fans that watch Smackdown after the WWE show ends.  In my opinion the reason that doesn’t happen is that Smackdown is such a well booked show and Rampage, and AEW in general, is wrestling for the sake of wrestling.  The booking is so bad that it won’t appeal to people who watch for the characters and the stories.  It will attract the people who don’t understand why Kevin Owens turned down a title match he didn’t earn against his friend Cody Rhodes.

Should this be the first PPV TK let's the women main event? I think Toni and Mariah have earned it.

While I think the build for Mariah May and Toni Storm has been totally botched, sure he could do it.  My guess is he will go with Will Ospreay vs. MJF, especially if Will is going to win.

I've seen a lot of reports today that the Lucha Bros. are WWE bound; however, my number one rule when it comes to Wrestling News is: "If Mike Johnson hasn't reported it, it isn't true yet." Can you guys confirm these reports? Those guys are incredible.

I agree with your rule, Mike Johnson is the best reporter in the business.  All signs point to those two going to WWE/NXT.  Of course, until it happens it's not 100 percent official but at this point in time, it looks like that is what will happen.

Why does practically every WWE PLE main event features a member of The Bloodline? Is it because of nepotism as The Rock has some creative influence behind the scenes?

Damn, you nailed it!  It has nothing to do with the group being one of the top, if not, top acts in WWE or that they are huge draw.  It’s all because of the nepotism of The Rock, who just returned to the company earlier this year.  I have no idea why no one thought of this before!  You are a wrestling genius!
