Why does Matt Riddle get so much hate? I know some don’t like him for how he lives his life or his out of ring incidents but he's a really great worker.
I think you nailed it, some people don’t like how he lives his life and thus they don’t care what kind of worker he is. You have to remember, as WWE has shown us the majority of fans don’t concern themselves with how great of a worker someone is. To them it’s about whether they like the talent or not.
Seeing Joe Hendry do his in-ring “concert” brought Elias/Ezekiel to mind. What’s he up to? I felt they dropped the ball with him.
Last I heard, he was out on the indies. A lot of talents had the ball dropped on Vince McMahon’s watch.
Speaking of Joe Hendry, have there been any conversations within WWE along the lines of “How didn’t this fellow come onto our radar before now”? He has charisma, he can talk and can wrestle (hardly surprising having been trained by, among others, Marty Jones and Robbie Brookside).
One thing you need to consider is that there are a lot of people on WWE’s radar who they don’t think are quite ready to go into the system yet. There are others who don’t, at least at the time, want to commit to moving to the US to work there (like Gunther years ago).
Speaking of balls being dropped: Willow Nightingale?
Tony Khan’s her booker. He has dropped a lot of balls.
Where is Giovanni Vinci?
As we saw on Smackdown, he has been repackaged and will be returning soon.
