It is Saturday and AEW Collision is LIVE at the Esports Stadium Arlington in Arlington TX, and it’s a shame that AEW decided NOT to come to Minneapolis for my birthday, which they did in 2022. Come on Tony, do me a solid!

Darby Allin and Hologram vs Premier Athletes (Tony Nese and Josh Woods) w/Aryia Davari and Mark Sterling
Sterling talks about how he has been beat up a few times, but his team will get their revenge on Hologram, and Davari throws in a few verbal shots as well. Sterling has his arm in a sling and Nigel tells us it has been broken.
Hologram and Woods start off and Woods gets a hip toss and a waistlock takedown. Woods gets a snap mare and Hologram lands on his feet. Woods takes Hologram to the corner and Nese tags in and throws a chop. Hologram hits a chop and then a spinning arm drag. Darby tags in and they double team Woods with strikes and Darby gets a Code Red for two. They continued to double team Nese. Hologram gets a Monkey Flip as Darby gets a roll up for two and then a cross body splash off the bottom rope for two.
Woods cuts off Darby with an eye poke and this leads to Woods and Nese working him over with quick tags. Darby is finally able to tag out when he is given back body drops by Woods and Nese and he lands on his feet after each other. Hologram tags in and runs wild. Tony Schiavone is impressed with everything Hologram does in this sequence.
Woods and Nese are finally able to get him in a double team slam for two, broken up by Darby. This sets off the tag team siren and all four men are fighting in the ring. Sterling grabs Hologram with the “broken arm” hand and Darby. Hologram is able to get a crucifix rollup on Woods for the pin and the win.
Winners: Darby Allin and Hologram
We then get a video hyping the Texas Bullrope match between Thunder Rose and Deonna Purrazzo.
Thunder Rosa vs Deonna Purrazzo in a Texas Bullrope Match
Rosa starts the match with clotheslines and a senton. She then does a ground and pound with the cowbell. Purrazzo leaves the ring and tries to pull Rosa to the floor, but Rosa gets a sliding kick into Purrazzo. Rosa tosses Purrazzo into the steel steps and then lays in stomps. They return the ring, Rosa gets a backstabber and then goes to the top. Purrazzo catches her and ties her in the Tree of Woe. She gets in a few blows on Rosa, but Rosa avoids the kicks.
They fight around the ringpost on the floor and Purrazzo starts in on Rosa with the cowbell. She draws first blood as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, we have chairs and tables in the ring, Rosa’s wearing the crimson mask and Rosa pulls Purrazzo off the top into a pile of chairs for two. Rosa runs a chair wedged in the ropes head first and then dropkicks Purrazzo in the corner where Purrazzo had a chair in front of her face for two.
Purrazzo is now busted open. Rosa climbs to the top and Purrazzo pulls her down into the Tree of Woe again and goes after Rosa with a chair. Purrazzo gets a spear into the corner for two. Purrazzo sets up the table in the corner. They trade attempts to toss the other into the table. Purrazzo hits a power bomb and then a Gotch style power bomb in the middle of the ring for two. Purrazzo then sets the table in the middle of the ring. Rosa is put on the table and whipped with the rope. Purrazzo goes to the top and Rosa gets off the table and meets her there. Rosa bulldogs Purrazzo into the table. Rosa then hits a shoulder breaker for the pin and the win.
Winner: Thunder Rosa
We then get an 80’s style video for the Outrunners. It even looks like a 3rd generation VHS tape.
FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) vs The Outrunners (Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd)
Dax and Truth start out and Dax gets a side headlock takeover and Truth is able to escape and pose. Cash and Turbo tag in and they run the ropes with Cash getting shoulder tackles. Cash gets a rollup for two and then is driven into the Outrunner’s corner where they work him over with quick tags. Cash cuts Truth off with a Manhattan Drop and then Dax tags in.
Dax gets a running elbow for two. They run the ropes and Truth grabs onto Dax as Turbo comes into the ring to attack, Dax gets a back body drop on him and then does the same to Truth. FTR clotheslines the Outrunners to the floor. They mock the Outrunners’ poses as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Cash has been the babyface in peril through the break. Cash is able to avoid a spear and tags in Dax, who cleans house. Dax gets 5 suplexes and a pile driver on Turbo for two, and dodges the attack from Truth, so that he hits Turbo. Turbo takes a Shatter Machine for the pin and the win.
Winners: FTR
In the back, Kip Sabian is with Lexi Nair and Nick Wayne shows up and asks why Kip is still in the business. Nick says he is the youngest champion in the business and Kip has done nothing. He challenges Kip for a match on Rampage, and says Kip’s dad went out a loser, so Kip will as well.
We get a recap of the match between MJF and Kyle Fletcher. The focus of the video is that Fletcher says MJF deserves to be hit with the Tiger Driver and Will Ospreay won’t use the move again because of what it did to Bryan Danielson.
Rush vs Preston Vance
Last night, Don Callis set up this match and told Rush to put Vance in the hospital. Vance was part of the now completely forgotten AEW Los Ingobernables with Rush.
They have words in the middle of the ring and Vance holds up the Los Ingobernables hand sign, and Rush drops him with a strike. They trade strikes in the corners and Vance is able to get a spinebuster on Rush as they run the ropes. Rush goes to the floor and they brawl around the ring. Rush rolls Vance into the ring and Vance is busted open.
Vance lays in chops as does Rush, and when Rush comes off the ropes, Vance gets a spear for one. Vance gets a discus lariat for a two count. Vance then goes for the Bull’s Horns on Rush in the corner, but Rush suplexes him into the turnbuckle. Rush then beats down Vance in the corner. Rush then hits the Bull’s Horns in the corner on Vance for the pin and the win.
Winner: Rush
In the back, Don Callis happy with the result. Rush leaves the ring and then looks back and returns to the ring. Rush hits the Bull’s Horns again and the referee crew stops him from continuing his attack.
We then get the video from Dynamite of Jack Perry talking about his match with Darby Allin at All In where he smashes a whole lot of TVs with Darby on them.
Swerve has issued an open challenge and says he will own Bryan Danielson’s legacy in two weeks at All In.
Swerve Strickland (AEW World Champion) vs Tomohiro Ishii
They block strikes by the other and and then run the ropes and Swerve gets a head scissors takedown. Swerve gets a springboard dropkick off the second rope for two. Swerve gets in strikes, but Ishii drops him with a shoulder tackle. Ishii gets in chops and Swerve takes Ishii down with kicks. Swerve tries to kick Ishii’s head to mock him and Ishii gets to his feet and walks into Swerve as Swerve lays in elbows.
Swerve grabs a chop and drops Ishii with a side suplex. Swerve backflips over the top rope onto Ishii as we go to picture in picture. When we return to full screen, Swerve is laying in strikes and Ishii takes them and hits a side suplex, but Swerve holds on with a side headlock. Ishii breaks away and lays in chops and then hits another side suplex. Ishii charges into Swerve in the corner and then puts him on top. Ishii then gets a stalling vertical suplex from the second rope for two. Swerve and Ishii trade blows and Ishii gets a face plant on Swerve. Swerve then gets a face plant on Ishii for two.
Ishii escapes Swerve grabbing him from behind and they trade headbutts. Swerve gets a scoop slam and then a brain buster for two. Ishii gets a German Suplex. Swerve gets a big boot and Ishii pops right back up and hits a clothesline for two. Ishii tries for another stalling vertical, but Swerve escapes and gets a strike, Ishii gets a big kick and Swerve gets the stomp from a standing position in the middle of the ring.
Swerve gets the House Call for the pin and the win.
Winner: Swerve Strickland.
In a pre-tape, Claudio Castagnoli challenges for the Continental Championship in Cardiff.
Leexi is in the ring to speak to Kris Statalnder and Stokely Hathaway. She asks them about the feud with Willow Nightingale. Lexi says that Willow and Ishii have challenged Statlander at Zero Hour at All In. Hathaway complains about this, and Hathaway says he will get a partner from the Bronx, and Lexi says that Hathway is the partner they are challenging. Hathaway starts to complain and Statlander accepts for him.
Lexi is in the back again with Top Flight and she says MxM have asked to meet them but can’t be found. We then see they have been crouching down off camera the entire time. They mock Top Flight and Top Flight challenge them. Mansoor says he broke a nail so he’s not cosmetically cleared to compete. Lio Rush shows and says they will be facing Top Flight next week on Collision.
Hikaru Shida vs The Already In The Ring Aleah James
Shida wins with a Falcon Arrow.
Winner: Hikaru Shida
Tony says that Shida is more aggressive than usual.
We then get a sit down between Bryan Danielson and Jim Ross. Bryan talks about how Ross signed him to his first big league contract and there are so many moments where he got to be so lucky working with so many great people. Ross asks about how his body has taken so many injuries. Bryan talks about how he is worried about concussions and the crazy things he had to do to get noticed.
He says he will probably have to get neck surgery before the end of the year. Bryan says you always think you are ready for a Championship match, and he has failed four times to win the AEW title. He says he’s the best mentally he has ever been.
Shida then meets with Lexi and Shida says that Britt Baker beat her last time and they are now 2 and 2. She says she needs real competition to go back to Wembley. So she challenges Mercedes Mone. She says Baker is the first but not the best, and Shida says that’s right, SHE is the best. Shida then lays out her bona fides.

House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King, and Buddy Murphy) vs Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson, Colton and Austin Gunn) with Special Referee Christian Cage
The winner faces the Trios Champions at All In. Cage is in a turtleneck referee shirt.
King and Juice start off, they lock up and King forces them into the corner. Juice tried a shoulder tackle and bounces off. This sets off the tag team siren and everyone gets in the ring, but Cage forces them back to their corners. Black and Austin stay in the ring, They each jockey for position and Black gets an arm bar and pulls Austin to his corner where Buddy tags in. He leaps in, stomping on Austin’s arm and then gets in Cage’s face. Colton tags in and he and Buddy trade roll ups for 1. They get leg sweeps and we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Buddy has been taking a beating from the Bang Bang Gang through the break with quick tags. Buddy is able to get a tag to King, but since Cage didn’t see it, he doesn’t let King into the ring and the Gang goes back to work on Buddy. Buddy fights his way free, but King and Black have been knocked off the apron. Buddy is able to get a big knee lift and Black is tagged in, and he runs wild.
King tags in and Black keeps working on the Gang until King charges into Colton in the corner. King then leaps onto the Gang as we go back to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, House fo Black has been battering the Gang in and out of the ring. Austin gets to tag Colton who tags in Juice and they double team King. Black is cannonballed in the corner and drops to the floor. The Gang continues to double team King, and after Juice gets a senton, he covers King for two.
King is able to fight off the Gang, and he gets a slam on Austin, Buddy gets a big stomp from the top and King covers for two, broken up by the rest of the Gang. Austin tags in after Colton is dragged to the corner. He lays in chops on King, who drops him with a single chop. Colton and Juice get the 3:10 to Yuma for two, broken up by Buddy. Then, each person takes out the last person in the ring.
All six men are down, Buddy gets to his feet at 9 and Cage spears him and counts 10.
No winner: Double count out.
The Patriarchy hit the ring with chairs for a beat down. Every member of the Gang and House are taken out and the Patriarchy stand tall as we are out of time.
