The tributes to the late Kevin Sullivan continue:
"I have known Kevin Sullivan for over 45 years. He has thought me a lot about this business and always had my back from the championship wrestling from Florida Eddie Graham days to WCW. The knowledge he passed on not only to me but to so many other wrestlers is second to none. We traveled up and Down the roads together shared many ribs many heart aches and a lot of great memories. He gave me my start in WCW and for that and so much more I will be forever grateful rest in peace Kevin you will be missed. Love you brother. Fidel Sierra the Cuban Assassin"
I believed Kevin Sullivan was the devil when i was a kid. Even after I was smart to the business, I thought that was real. I was still scared of him when I was in WCW. ????. He was brilliant! I'm so grateful to have known & worked with Kevin when i was in nWo. He will be missed. ????… pic.twitter.com/nSDX6Cn1Ns

"Much love and condolences go out to all the family, friends and fans of Kevin Sullivan. The Devil in some circles, Taskmaster in others. Many of my friend’s wrestling dad.
As most know, Kevin booked many of WCW’s biggest moments (including the formation of the nWo, Sting’s rise of the Crow, Goldberg’s ascent etc.) Kevin had the unique ability to not only see things others couldn’t but to take in someone else’s vision from a vantage they themselves might not even see and make them better.
When presented with the opportunity to work with and bring Kevin Sullivan back to the Cow Palace, I jumped at it. I’d heard the tales of his legendary run with Bob Roop culminating in their “SF DEATH MATCH”… As a fan, I lived through and experienced Sullivan return to the Bay and run the “SF DEATH MATCH” back with Chris Benoit in WCW… it was only fitting he partook in one more “SF DEATH MATCH” in the legendary Cow Palace enforcing Kratos vs Jeckles and deliver a final ‘Tree of Woe’.
Thankful to have experienced Mr. Sullivan from fandom, to the various extended phone calls and all the way on to my next of kin.
Thanks for everything Sully… and Go Giants!
Rest in Power LEGEND."
I'm devastated with the news of KEVIN SULLIVAN"s passing earlier today. I intro'd Kevin through the decades in early @WWE, the #NWA and #WCW in countless venues spanning several countries. Kevin was my go to guy for a lift when I needed cheering up. The stories Kevin told me… pic.twitter.com/zLS3GDzVIa

"Took me a minute to find the words.
I had been around Kevin Sullivan on and off since 2016. He would always give advice, lend an ear and have some of the best stories ever. Little known fact, my short lived time in ROH was supposed to culminate in a reigniting of Kevin’s feud with Dusty Rhodes with myself, Cody Rhodes & Steve Corino against Kevin, Damian Priest & BJ Whitmer, but plans change and it wasn’t meant to be.
Fast forward to 2019 and I Kevin and I wrestle each other for Frankie Kathleen Goodman. (Thank you for that, Frank.) After that match Kevin would call me with ideas and we’d keep in touch.
In 2022, Kevin came in for Outlaw Wrestling. I’m looking around the room, seeing who’s there and starting to write down a lineup. All of a sudden I hear that one of a kind voice sneak up behind me. “Brotha…mind if I watch you work?” Kevin sat with me and we put together a lineup sheet that I still have in my possession because of what that meant to me. From that day on there wasn’t a phone call or text that Kevin or I didn’t immediately answer every one or two weeks. He’d come in more and more over the course of that year before he had to take a step back. Which is a shame because his work and his ideas with Christopher Ford had a lot of legs.
To sit under his learning tree was an honor and privilege, but nothing came close to being able to call him a friend. Rest easy, Devil. A million thank you’s would never be enough. Say hi to the boys for me. See you down the road."
Rest in Peace Kevin. I can’t express enough how encouraging and helpful you were from my very first day in the business. I have a scar on my forehead that will remind me of you every time I look in the mirror and it will bring a smile to my face. pic.twitter.com/B8jNmG6I2e
