When Madusa returned the WWE Ladies Championship to WWE at the Hall of Fame where she returned, did WWE actually keep the physical title belt?
I believe Madusa remains in possession of the title.
Is there any chance that we could possibly see a Eric Bishoff WWE return?
There's always a chance that Eric Bischoff could return in some fashion if WWE had a role for him and he wanted to do the travel. Flying all over the world as you get older is not something someone does unless it's a lot of money or they really loved the business. Bischoff left World Wrestling Entertainment under good terms when he was let go from his management position and could easily be a compelling character on TV again, if the two sides wanted to do business.
With the WWE Network going away, I know we are probably not going to see a WCW or ECW company DVD set again, but could it be possible that when WWE goes to Netflix, they license the older stuff to another streaming service, like a PlutoTV or Tubi?
I would absolutely think there is a possibility for that. It would allow WWE to monetize some of the libraries that aren't going to draw subscriber dollars on their own. The idea of putting the entire Jim Crockett Promotions TV run on a FAST channel like a Tubi makes a lot of sense to me. They could have channels for WCW, ECW, WWE Classics, etc. on PlutoTV as well.
Why didn't WWE ever use the Stampede library as much as the others?
There's an issue with the library. Bret Hart purchased the rights to his matches from that library from his family, so even though WWE has possession of the tapes, they can't use his matches without coming to terms with Bret, which thus far, they have failed to do.
Could you explain why Hiro Matsuda was given the managerial role of the 4 Horseman after JJ Dillion left WCW?
At the time, the NWA was trying to find a role for Matsuda, someone everyone who ever worked with him deeply liked. JJ Dillon had left the company to take a front office position with the WWF, so it was an attempt to fill the void he left behind. The idea was Flair would get heel heat from being associated with a dastardly Japanese corporation, since at the time Japan was really excelling when it came to overtaking our technology with the idea that Americans hated that and would boo Flair due to the connection. It was pretty contrived. While Matsuda was considered a good trainer, as a manager, he never clicked and the idea was quietly dropped.
