A few weeks ago there was all this excitement online that AEW “must have” completed its deal with Warner Brothers Discovery because there was content being uploaded internationally to the MAX streaming service but then nothing else happened and then the excitement disappeared. Any idea what happened?
Yes, what I think happened is that someone online discovered that in a few countries the AEW content was there for them to stream and assumed that this meant there “had to be” a new deal but the actual reality was there were already existing deals for those markets. It was just a case of someone discovering it and then people putting two and two together and making it five. This is why one should never assume.
Any word on Heels on Netflix?
It has popped up internationally, including the UK. So far, not here in the United States.
