Last night, The Smashing Pumpkins performed as part of Green Day's Saviors Tour stop in Queens, NY before a sold-out Citifield, with several members of Corgan's National Wrestling Alliance getting one of the biggest reactions of the night.
For the Pumpkins' song Beguiled, the NWA's Natalia Markova escorted Billy Corgan's children on stage and danced with them for the song.
During the performance, Bryan Idol from the NWA arrived on the other side of the stage, pantomiming that everyone should be paying attention to him instead, doing bodybuilding poses. Markova made Idol leave the stage, but then he returned, angry and standing center stage in front of the performance, demanding to be given respect.
Markova snuck up behind Idol and nailed him with a Cutter (RKO out of nowhere) with the entire stadium popping huge. Idol spent the rest of the song selling before being helped out after.
