Why should we think that Joe Tessitore will be any better than Mike Adamle? Hasn’t WWE already tried this and failed by bringing in mainstream sports announcers?
Michael Cole was a mainstream news man before coming to WWE and that worked out. Adamle? Jimmy Smith? Not so much. I won’t jump to conclusions like you are. I will see how Tessitore does and go from there.
We’re getting close to another major AEW event so of course there seems to be the need for major AEW drama. Why is this company the way that it is? Is this strictly because Tony is the guy in charge? Are the talent to blame or are they just being talent and nobody is managing them? One more thought, how many people have to have an issue with someone before that person is seen as the issue? Britt Baker seems to be at the root of a lot of AEW drama and issues.
First off, Britt is not the root of all issues. The children that lied about CM Punk to sap sheet writers, who ran their BS as if it were true, cost AEW its top star. With that said, it’s mainly Tony’s fault. He allows the children to act like children. The high school drama that happens in AEW doesn’t take place in WWE. The reason for the drama is Tony Khan, period.
SummerSlam attendance record of 57,791...Did they mean to say in the US? 1992 is still touted at 80'000+?
They had to mean the gate because yep, there were definitely more people at Wembley in 1992.
Does AEW have rules for normal matches or all matches just no dq and no countout? I'm watching Page vs. Allin on Dynamite tonight and so far they spend 2-4 mins on the stage with no count out they both destroyed each other with the steps and Allin repeatedly whipped Page with a belt in front of the ref and there was no DQ or count out.
The only rule in AEW is that the booking has to be terrible. Seriously, the days of this being a sports based presentation where rules matter is long since gone. Now it’s just, well, what you described. There’s a few reasons why they keep bleeding viewers and the booking is the major one.
Is Bruce Prichard being responsible for the Judgement Day stable as well as being the brainchild of the Dominik Mysterio-Liv Morgan-Rhea Ripley storyline the main reason that he still has a job in the WWE much like Michael Hayes is responsible for the Bloodline?
You get the good stuff don’t you? What a question! Both men have jobs because their bosses think they are really good at what they do. It’s that simple.
