Solid match. Newman tried for an Oscutter but Lee caught him and slammed him to the mat. Newman counters a chokeslam into a cradle for a two count. Lee hits a Face Break Shot.

6 - Great O-Khan vs. EVIL
Both men battle into the crowd. O-Khan gets smashed into chairs and guardrails. O-Khan fights back but Togo keeps interfering. They damaged O-Khan’s back with a chair. EVIL hits Darkness Falls. Two count. Referee bumps. Magic Killer on O-Khan. Two count. EVIL hits a lariat. Two count. O-Khan hit a Flatliner then an Eliminator.
O-Khan pins EVIL.
Great O-Khan has 4 points.
EVIL remains in the lead with 10 points.
7 - Tetsuya Naito vs. Gabe Kidd
Kidd brawled with Naito into the crowd. Kidd kept calling Naito an old man and mocked him while beating him down. Naito came back with a modified Destino and an Esperanza. Kidd hits a Saito Suplex. Both men were hurt but they traded strikes and slaps. Naito trapped Kidd in a quick small package.

Gabe Kidd has 6 points.
Kidd was pissed off and threw guardrails and beating up young lions. Naito mocked Kidd while the crowd cheered.
8 - Shota Umino vs. SANADA
Good match. Umino got a lot of offense on SANADA. SANADA goes for a moonsault but Umino gets the knees up. SANADA hits a Shining Wizard. Umino avoids a Deadfall. They exchange reversals. Umino hits a Blaze Blade. SANADA with an O’Conner Roll.
SANADA pins Umino.
SANADA has 6 points.
Shota Umino has 6 points.
9 - Shingo Takagi vs. Zack Sabre Jr.
Good match. They traded hard stiff strikes. ZSJ attacked Takagi’s right arm. ZSJ kept going for submissions and Takagi would get to the ropes. Takagi kept using his injured arm to throw lariats. Takagi hit Made in Japan and kicked out. ZSJ hit a Zack Driver and kicked out. They trade more strikes. ZSJ took him down with an arm submission. Takagi kept moving and picked up ZSJ and dropped him on his head with Last of the Dragon.
Takagi pins ZSJ.
Shingo Takagi has 6 points.
Zack Sabre Jr has 8 points.
ZSJ took the move and landed on his neck. Scary. He was wiggling his arms and fingers to get the blood flowing.
Hopefully, ZSJ is not hurt.
A Block is starting to balance out as we hit the midpoint of the G1. EVIL and Zack Sabre Jr remain in the lead and a bunch trying to catch up.
