When was Hulk Hogan christened Hulk Hogan?
Hogan, who had previously wrestled as Terry Boulder, was given the Hogan surname in 1979 by Vince McMahon Sr. The character's name "Hulk" was obviously inspired by the Marvel Comics character Hulk and at times he was billed as "The Incredible Hulk Hogan." Hogan was a nod to the Irish surname, as the WWF territory often sought to appeal to different immigrant populations in the Northeast.
Who had the best Wrestlemania main event of all time?
This is all pretty subjective, but Steve Austin vs. The Rock at Wrestlemania 17 is the match I keep coming back to.
I know the anniversary of Roddy Piper's passing is coming up. What matches do you suggest watching?
I'd suggest Greg Valentine at Starrcade, Bret Hart at Wrestlemania 8, Adrian Adonis at Wrestlemania 3, The Tonga Kid match from Madison Square Garden, and every Piper's Pit you can ever track down.
Any update on the Ronda Rousey comic book?
It was funded via Kickstarter. Not sure when it will be published.
