HOW YOU CAN ATTEND WORLD PREMIERE SCREENING OF 'WHEN GIANTS WALKED HERE' CROCKETT DOC, THE GATHERING KICKS OFF THURSDAY, MEMPHIS & MORE

Wild Rover Brewing in Tampa, Florida has launched an official British Bulldog "Hey Bulldog" beer featuring Davey Boy Smith on the packaging.

If you are in the Raleigh, NC area, there will be a world premiere screening of the new documentary When Giants Walked Here at the Rialto on 8/6 at 7 PM, followed by a Q&A with the cast members and producers.  Anyone wanting to attend can register for free tickets now at PBSNC.org.  The film will premiere on 8/8 on PBS in Raleigh.  Promotional material for When Giants Walked Here notes, "Raleigh’s Dorton Arena is famed the world over for its groundbreaking architecture. Its greatest untold legacy, however, is its place in the history of a Southern mainstay: pro wrestling. This documentary chronicles the rise and fall of pro wrestling at the iconic venue, examining its impact on generations of fans, competitors and the sport itself."  David Crockett, CW Anderson and George South are among those interviewed in the film.  It should be available on the PBS app as well.

Memphis Wrestling will be running a benefit event for St. Jude's on 8/10 at the Pontotoc County Agri-Center in Pontotoc, MS with Tommy Dreamer appearing.   The following went down on CBS affiliate WCBI to promote the show:
