This is night one of a two night show in Fukuoka.
1 - Hiroshi Tanahashi and Toru Yano vs. TAKA Michinoku and SANADA
Tanahashi forces TAKA to tap out to a Texas Cloverleaf.
2 - Callum Newman and Great-O-Khan vs. Dick Togo and EVIL
O-Khan pins Togo after hitting an Eliminator.
3 - Tomoaki Honma and Shota Umino vs. Kosei Fujita and Zack Sabre Jr.
ZSJ pins Honma after a Zack Driver.
4 - BUSHI, Tetsuya Naito and Shingo Takagi vs. Gedo, Jake Lee and Gabe Kidd
Gedo goes for a Gedo Clutch on BUSHI, but Naito dropkicks Gedo in the face. BUSHI pins Gedo with a cradle.
Lee and Kidd try to beat down Takagi and Naito after the match. Takagi and Kidd meet tomorrow in Fukuoka, which should be good.
G1 Climax 34 Matches:
5 - El Phantasmo vs. Boltin Oleg
Oleg bumped like pinball for ELP. ELP hit a Thunderkiss 86. Oleg kicks out. Oleg picks up ELP for a Kamikaze. ELP blocks it. Oleg tosses ELP in an F5 over the top rope. Ouch! ELP breaks the count. They exchange reversals and near falls. Oleg hits the Kamikaze.
Oleg pins ELP.
Boltin Oleg has 4 points.
El Phantasmo has 2 points.
6 - Yuya Uemura vs. Jeff Cobb
Uemura was able to lift Cobb for his suplexes. Very competitive match. Cobb hit an F-5000 and a Tour of the Islands.
Cobb pins Uemura.
Jeff Cobb has 4 points.
Yuya Uemura remains in the lead with 6 points.
7 - HENARE vs. Konosuke Takeshita
Fun stiff match. They wrestled a strong style match. They traded their power moves and hard strikes. HENARE blocked a Power Drive Knee and hit a diving head butt. They exchanged reversals. Takeshita hits Raging Fire.
Takeshita pins HENARE.
Konosuke Takeshita ties for the lead with 6 points.
HENARE has 4 points.
Good match. HENARE still looks strong in defeat and he continues to have great matches. Please check it out.
8 - David Finlay vs. Ren Narita
Both men brawled into the crowd at the start. Narita hit a wicked neck breaker over the guardrail. Kanemaru and Gedo get involved. Very stiff match. Finlay hits two buckle bombs and a power bomb.
Finlay pins Narita.
David Finlay has 4 points.
Ren Narita has 4 points.
9 - Hirooki Goto vs. Yota Tsuji
Good match. This was the new generation vs. the old generation. Both men threw stiff shots and were exhausted. Tsuji misses a Malo Crash but hit a landslide slam. Two count. Tsuji misses a Gene Blaster. Goto hits a GTW. Two count. Massive chants for both Yota and Goto. Goto hits a kick to the chest and a lariat. Goto with a suplex into a uranage. Two count. Goto hits a hard GTR.
Goto pins Tsuji.
Hirooki Goto has 4 points.
Yota Tsuji has 2 points.
