It is Saturday and AEW Collision is live and is at the Esports Stadium Arlington that they will be using for a large number of shows this summer in Arlington TX.
Our commentary team is Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness.
As a note from last week, they had massive sound issues, but this week, they have those resolved and the show’s sound was much better.

The Beast Mortos vs Hologram
The crowd actually chants for Hologram.
Mortos gets an arm drag when they run the ropes, and while Hologram can’t get one, he does get a tejaris. They trade big high-flying moves rapidly, and the story is that Hologram isn’t big enough to match power with Mortos, but can get a move in when he gets leverage and speed. Mortos gets a power slam for two. Mortos goes for a gorilla press, but Hologram escapes out the back, but Mortos drops him with a pounce as we go to picture in picture.

They go to the top and Mortos gets a sit down slam while holding Hologram in an arm bar for one. Hologram gets a back body drop on Mortos onto the apron where he then lays in kicks. He tries for a Canadian Destroyer, but “doesn’t get all of it” on the apron.

Mortos goes to the top and Hologram joins him there. Hologram gets a hurricanrana from the top and then walks the ropes for a crucifix bomb for the pin and the win.
Winner: Hologram
The crowd is really into him, but if he is going to use a lot of the high risk moves, he needs to tighten it up a bit, as his character really needs to be precise to get over, in my opinion. Mortos was a good opponent to focus on speed vs power.
Thunder Rosa vs the Already In The Ring Maya World
After losing her feud with Deonna Purrazzo, Rosa needs to get a win, and she does here after showing over arm drags, dropkicks and the other stuff in her moveset. She gets the win with a camel clutch.

Time for everyone to take a big move from the last person in the ring.

We then get a pre-taped segment where Chris Jericho is with Renee Paquette after his match Wednesday match. Jericho says that Minoru Suzuki broke his finger, and now he can't wave at people. He says he’s not through with Suzuki. And then he says now that Shibata is back, they are coming for him, since Hook and Samoa Joe aren’t around to save him.
Lance Archer charges the ring after one of the people he was stroking in the back. His unnamed opponent tries a dive onto him, and Archer choke slams him on the apron. Archer then chokeslams him twice and then hits the blackout for the pin and the win.
So, I guess that was a match.
