Rickey Shane Page announced his departure from MLW yesterday. We are told that this went down a few weeks back. We are told there was no issues or heat but it was just part of the company turning over part of the roster. Page had been doing some agenting behind the scenes and got good marks for that. We are told by some sources they wouldn't be shocked if there were another few talent departures, but nothing concrete on that end, as of this writing.
MLW announced the first official match for their NYC return on 8/29 is AKIRA vs. KENTA as part of the 2024 Opera Cup. The event will see MLW return to The Melrose Ballroom in Long Island City, Queens.
MLW will be running 9/14 in Atlanta at Center Stage for Fightland 2024, 10/4 in St. Petersburg, Florida fo Slaughterhouse 2024 and Lucha Apocalypto in Chicago on 11/9.
