AEW RAMPAGE REPORT

It is Friday and this week’s Rampage was recorded after Collision on Saturday night at the Landers Center in Southaven, MS

The commentary team is Tony Schiavone and Matt Menard.

Malakai Black and Brody King vs Tony Nese and Ari Daivari w/Mark Menard

Davari and Black start the match and Black grabs a side headlock. They run the ropes and Davari dodges a kick. Black drops to a sitting position and Nese tags in and tries for a kick, and Black dodges and nails Nese with a back elbow. King tags in and Nese tries a chop.  King ignores it. Nese grabs King’s bread and King drops him with a single chop. He lays in another chop in the corner. King keeps up the attack and hits Nese with a BIG back body drop, a scoop slam and a senton for two. 

Black tags in and they whip Nese to the corner. He dodges an attack from Black and tries to fight off King. Black is whipped toward King, but he goes over his back, and they lay out Nese. Black covers for two. King is tagged back in and when he runs to the ropes, John Woods pulls down the rope and King goes to the floor. Nese leaps on King as we go to picture in picture.

When we return to full screen, King has been worked over after the time on the floor. King gets a big side slam and is able to tag in Black. Davari also tags in and Black cleans house on both Nese and Davari. Davari gets a blind tag and Nese misses a leap from the top and Black drops him with a spin kick. Black takes out Josh Woods on the apron, but Davari nails Black with Sterling’s clipboard. Nese hits a 450 for two.

Nese tries to tag out, but King pulls Davari off the apron. King goes for a cannonball on the outside, but Sterling gets in front of Davari, so King hits a cross body on Sterling. Black gets a sheer drop brainbuster and goes up top. Nese gets a big kick on Black and pulls him to the mat. Nese goes for a 450 but Black gets the knees up. 

Black hits a spin kick and King holds Davari back for the pin and the win.

Winners: The House of Black

Roderick Strong w/Mike Bennett and Matt Taven vs The Already in the Ring Ben Bishop 

The Conglomeration: Kyle O'Reilly, Mark Briscoe and Orange Cassidy join Commentary.

Bob is a full head taller than Roddy, and after he gets in a couple of big man moves, Roddy goes after the legs to cut him down to size and wins with Fisherman’s suplex and a leaping knee.

Winner: Roderick Strong

O’Reilly says they will go stare down the Undisputed Kingdom. 

We then get a video hyping Deonna Purrazzo.

Angelico vs Rey Fenix vs Komander vs AR Fox

Remember a few months ago when AR Fox was part of a major storyline?  

We get a few moves before we get a roll up fest with someone rolling up the last person for two counts. Fox gets the first spotlight with a bunch of moves, and when he pins Komander, Angelico breaks it up. Angelico gets a two count and Fenix breaks it up. Fenix and Komander face off and fight with Fenix getting a kick to Komander on the apron while running the ropes as we go to picture in picture.

When we return to full screen, Angelico has Komander on top with an arm bar, and Fox is able to break it up by grabbing the leg and Fenix gets rid of Fox. Fox and Komander fight, and Fox gets rid of him and gets a slam on Angelico for two. Fenix takes out Fix with a thrust kick. Angelico gets a submission on Fox, and Komander breaks it up with a moonsault after walking the ropes. Komander hits Fox with a DDT for two. 

Komander gets a crucifix bomb on Fenix for two. Fenix hits Komnader with a series of kicks and puts him on top. Fenix joins him and Fox joins in. Fox is sent to the floor and Angelico joins in. He tries to hit a German suplex on Komander to the floor, but he is kicked off the apron. Fenix knocks Komander off the top and hits a frog splash on Fox for two. He then gets a butterfly stretch on Fox, who has to tap out.

Winner: Rey Fenix

This was a high-flying spot fest, and everyone had some amazing tricks to pull for the night. Lots of craziness, lots of acrobatics, and it hyped up the crowd. 

We get a video of Chris Jericho attacking Samoa Joe with the forklift. We then go to Renee Paquette with Jericho, Large William, and Bryan Keith. He says if you don’t listen to the Learning Tree, bad things happen, and he goes over the people they have injured. Williams says Jericho has taught him the more TV time the better. Bryan says if you don’t respect Chris Jericho, they will make you respect Chris Jericho. 

Thunder Rosa vs The Already In The Ring Rachel Ellering

Rosa dominates with kicks and a clothesline slam for two. Rose gets a series of hammer and anvil elbows for two. Rachel finally gets a whip to the corner and a senton on Rosa for two. Rachel lays in chops in the corner and keeps whipping Rosa into the corner. Rosa reverses a whip and gets knees from the top into Rachel in the corner. Rosa gets the drop-kick as Rachel is in the ropes. 

Rachel is able to get a rollup for two. Rosa gets a casadora and follows through with a double stomp and then locks in a Cobra Clutch for Rachel to tap out.

Winner: Thunder Rosa

 Deonna Purrozza hits the ring and attacks both women, taking them both out. 

Top Flight (Dante and Darius Martin) and Action Andretti vs Shane Taylor Productions (Shane Taylor, Lee Moriarty, and Anthony Ogogo)

Darius and Lee start off and they trade full nelsons. They move to headlocks and running the ropes. Lee gets a backslide for two. Darius gets a cover for two and they keep trading movies back and forth until Dante and Ogogo tag in. Ogogo forces them into the corner and Dante works a way free and tries a victory roll for two. Dante gets an arm drag and Andretti tags in.

Andretti gets a neck breaker for one. Taylor tags in and Andretti tries some body blows, but Taylor cuts him off.  Andretti leaps onto Taylor and they go over the top rope to the floor. Andretti goes for a dive, and Ogogo stops him with a punch and we go to picture in picture.

When we return to full screen, Dante has been the babyface in peril through the break. Dante tries to fight out of the corner. He gets a bulldog on Taylor and crawls to his corner for the hat tag to Darius. He runs wild, mostly on Ogogo. Andretti is tagged in and he dropkicks Lee into Darius for a suplex for two, broken up by Ogogo. Ogogo fights out of a double team and slams Andretti.

Taylor is tagged in and Taylor clotheslines him to oblivion. The tag team siren goes off and all six men are fighting. When everyone is down, Taylor tags in and Andretti tries to fight off both Taylor and Lee. Taylor is caught with an insigiri and Andretti dives on Ogogo. He gets a springboard clothesline Lee. Taylor grabs Andretti and he tries to pick up Taylor, but Taylor is too big. Taylor gets the big knee.  Taylor has Ogogo and Lee cover him, then gets a big right hand for the pin and the win on Andretti.

Winners: Shane Taylor Promotions.
