By Mike Johnson on 2024-07-11 22:03:00

Welcome to PWInsider.com’s TNA Impact on AXS TV report!

TNA is coming from Philadelphia with Matt Rehwoldt and Tom Hanifan on the call.

They aired a video feature on Nic Nemeth getting attacked.  The System wondered who did it if it wasn’t them.  The camera revealed Frankie Kazarian smoking a cigar when he realized someone was filming him.  It was Ryan Nemeth.  He said his brother told him Kazarian attacked Nic.  Kazarian asked him if he was here to fight for his brother’s honor.  Ryan said, “No, I’m here to watch him kick your ass.”  Nic Nemeth was revealed to be in the same alley and attacked Kazarian.  There was a brawl that was broken up.  Nemeth acted as if he hurt his arm or elbow in the aftermath.  This was a nice, cinematic looking open.

TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace vs. NXT Challenger Izzy Dame

Ash By Elegance’s Concierge announced she was on vacation but would be watching via satellite from her beautiful resort.

They had a feeling out process before Grace caught her with a clothesline that sent Dame over the top to the floor.  Grace went for a flip dive but Dame avoided it.  Grace kicked him and worked over Dame on the floor.  Grace avoided being sent into the ring post and nailed her with a back elbow.

Rosemary came out of the crowd to chase Ash's Concierge to the back.

Dame snapped Grace's throat across the top rope and then sent her into the buckles.   She placed Grace on the top rope and drilled her, then pulled her off the top into a Falcon Arrow for a near fall.

The crowd chanted for TNA as Dame went for a powerbomb, but it was blocked.  Grace worked over Dame in the corner but missed a charging elbow in the corner.  Dame blocked a kick but Grace still came off the buckles and attacked Dame on the mat with body shots.

Grace went for The Juggernaut Driver but Dame kicked her off.  They battled back and forth with big right hands as they rose from the mat.  Grace nailed a big spinning backfist but was kicked by Dame.  Grace caught her with a DVDR and the Juggernaut Driver for the pinfall.

Your winner and still Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace!
