The New York Post is reporting that ESPN's Joe Tessitore is joining WWE's announce crew. He will be paired in a three man booth with Corey Graves and Wade Barrett, presumably on Smackdown.
Tessitore, 53, will also stay at ESPN/ABC, where calls college football and boxing.
WWE declined comment on the story but in asking around, I was told that the deal is in place and will probably be announced later today. WWE likes to leak stories in the mainstream first. From what I have been told, it's legitimate.
The Post story stated, "This job is something of a full-circle moment Tessitore, who was the first media client of WWE president Nick Khan." The story also states that Tessitore has a great relationship with Paul Levesque as well.
I think it's fair to say that this is a big get by WWE/TKO.
