Winner: Slade
This was pretty damn awful. Regular size wrestler vs a little person for over 10 minutes. Too long, too gimmick-y, and might have worked as a 2 - 3 minute gimmick. Not a good match for me to come back to covering this company on. I just hated the whole thing.
Thom Latimer (NWA National Heavyweight Champion) vs Zyon w/Austin Idol
They shove each other to start, then lock up and not one gets an advantage. They lock up again and break. Thom keeps going for an arm bar and is finally able to bring Zyon to the mat. Thom gets the crossface in, and Thom is able to kick off the rope to keep Zyon from grabbing the rope. Zyon grabs the fingers to break the hold and gets a rollup for two. Thom gets a pop up power bomb for the pin and the win.
Winner and still NWA National Heavyweight Champion: Thom Latimer
The announcers put over that this is the first time Zyon has been pinned. A good back and forth match with two big men, nothing super special, just a “meat and potatoes” match.
Alex Taylor and Kerry Morton w/Ricky Morton vs Trevor Murdoch and Mike Knox in a Crockett Cup Tournament match.
Morton and Taylor start by throwing hands, and Knox and Murdoch take it and fire back, taking over. Morton is given a big backdrop by Knox and Murdoch, and Taylor takes the same ride.
