NJPW Soul results from Korakuen Hall, Tokyo Japan:
1 - El Desperado, Yuji Nagata, Togi Makabe and Tomoaki Honma vs. DOUKI, SANADA, Yuya Uemura and TAKA Michinoku
Uemura pins Honma with a body press off the top rope.
2 - Yota Tsuji, Hiromu Takahashi and Titan vs. Ren Narita, SHO and Yoshinobu Kanemaru
Tsuji was about to submit Narita when EVIL, Yujiro Takahashi and Dick Togo attacked him.
House of Torture is disqualified.
Shingo, Tetsuya Naito and BUSHI make the save. Shingo gets the mic and challenges House of Torture to a 6 man tag match.
3 - Los Ingobernales de Japon vs. House of Torture
Both teams brawled all over the arena. BUSHI dropkicks Togo in the knee. BUSHI applies his Fable submission.
Togo taps out.
4 - G1 Climax 34 B Block Qualifier Match: Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Boltin Oleg
Oleg counters a Slingblade into a Kamikaze. Oleg picks up Tanahashi and hits another Kamikaze.
Oleg pins Tanahashi.
Boltin Oleg advances into the Finals of the A Block Qualifier.
For the first time in 22 years, Hiroshi Tanahashi will not be in the G1 Climax.
Oleg gave Tanahashi an ice pack and bowed to him, thanking The Ace for putting him over. Very cool.
5 - G1 Climax 34 A Block Qualifier Match: Callum Newman vs. KENTA
Good stiff match. Newman pins KENTA after an Oscutter.
Callum Newman advances into the Finals of the A Block Qualifier.
6 - G1 Climax 34 B Block Qualifier Match: Taichi vs. TJP
Good match. Taichi pins TJP with Black Mephisto.
Taichi advances to the Finals of the B Block Qualifier to face Boltin Oleg.
The story has been TJP trying to be the leader of United Empire. Now, the leader will be watching G1 from the bench.
7 - G1 Climax 34 A Block Qualifier Match: Tomohiro Ishii vs. YOSHI-HASHI
CHAOS members in a stiff fun match. YOSHI-HASHI hits a Crucifix Bomb, then follows with Karma.
YOSHI-HASHI pins Ishii.
YOSHI-HASHI advances to the Finals for the A Block Qualifier to face Callum Newman.
Wow, Tomohiro Ishii will not be in the G1 Climax this year.
On Friday, July 5, the last entries into the G1 Climax 34 will be decided, with the following:
G1 Climax B Block Qualifier Final: Boltin Oleg vs. Taichi
G1 Climax A Block Qualifier Final: Callum Newman vs. YOSHI-HASHI
The main event will be: IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship: El Desperado vs. DOUKI.
