If you haven't seen Will Ospreay vs. Swerve Strickland from Forbidden Door, it is absolutely worth going out of your way to see. As I noted in Elite audio, the atmosphere was off the charts and it felt like a major "big fight" deal, right down to the lighting for the ring introductions.
There was a lot of praise internally for the Mercedes Mone vs. Stephanie Vaquer bout within AEW, specifically for Vaquer getting over so strongly with the live crowd in NYC for her work. We are told that Mone went into the bout with the express goal of "making" Vaquer and that even with Vaquer getting into town late as she didn't arrive until the afternoon of the PPV (most were in the night before), the feeling was they hit the goal.
The story that George Clooney sent Mone the bottle of tequila at the PPV was 100% legitimate.
New Japan Pro Wrestling announced the official attendance for the PPV was 11,477. Tony Khan stated at the post-show media scrum it was over 11,000.
Britt Baker is 100% cleared to return to the ring.
Brody King was not injured from the hellacious looking brainbuster against Tomohiro Ishii.
No word yet on the nature of Lio Rush's injury from the Ladder Match.

We are told that a big AEW and NJPW contingent of talents went to a karaoke bar together after the PPV on Sunday.
The legendary George Napolitano, Keith Elliot Greenberg and Vladimir the Superfan were among those in attendance at the PPV. AEW staff went well out of their way to assist Vladimir so he could enjoy the show as comfortably as possible, so a major THANK YOU to them from me. The legendary leader of Strictly ECW, Tony Lewis, was also in attendance with his Mrs.
There were a number of licensee and sponsor reps at the PPV being hosted in VIP suites at the UBS Arena.
The PPV featured concession stands featuring both AEW and New Japan merchandise.
