Notes from today's AEW media call with President Tony Khan in advance of Forbidden Door 2024 this Sunday:
*Britt Baker is close to returning from injury.
*On their new media rights deal (presumably with WBD), Khan said they are "in the red zone", running towards the goal and are hoping to make a touchdown.
*Forbidden Door is close to 10,000 tickets sold and a $1 million gate, which would be the third time the company has hit that mark live.
*When asked about Becky Lynch and Dijak, Khan joked he wouldn't do any potential negotiations on a media call but respects each of them.
*On Jim Ross' health, Khan said he would love for Ross to be back as soon as he can.
*Khan talked up the Arlington residency and said he's bringing big matches and talents to those tapings.
*The company is working on work visas for AEW talents so they can work in Japan regularly.
*Khan is hopeful for Kenny Omega, Jamie Hayter and Adam Cole's return and is excited for when they will be healthy and cleared.
