Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has been starring in Disney films for many years and now he and his production company, Seven Bucks Productions, have signed a first look deal with Disney to continue that partnership.
The Hollywood Reporter noted the deal will see Seven Bucks "develop films for theatrical and streaming platforms, with Johnson to potentially star in the projects. The multi-year deal will also allow Seven Bucks to collaborate across Disney divisions."
The Rock has previously starred in The Jungle Cruise, The Game Plan and Race to Witch Mountain for Disney. Seven Bucks produced the excellent Behind the Attraction series on Disney+.
Johnson returns as Maui in the animated Moana 2 this year and will be filming the live-action Moana film later this summer, also reprising his role as Maui.
