Robert "RD" Evans, who left his position as on the TNA Creative team a week or so ago is already working for All Elite Wrestling, PWInsider.com can confirm.
Multiple sources passed on that Evans was working at this past Saturday's Collision taping and he is expected to be at tonight's Dynamite taping. Evans was working on backstage segments over the weekend.
Evans left TNA several weeks ago with PWInsider.com reporting on 5/31: "The word making the rounds is that relations between Evans and the company had grown strained in recent weeks and that Evans had been obviously "increasingly frustrated" according to one source. The common belief among those we've spoken with is that Evans made the decision to leave, although some in TNA tried to paint it as a mutual agreement. My belief is that Evans left of his own accord. Evans' exit happened prior to yesterday's firings and was a separate situation."
One would think that Jimmy Jacobs, who Evans worked very closely with in TNA, was the conduit for Evans to make his way to AEW.
Prior to his time in TNA, Evans also worked on WWE Creative and wrestled and performed for Ring of Honor and CHIKARA among many other promotions.
