While she appeared as scheduled at the WWE NXT Battleground PPV on Sunday, rap star Sexyy Red was also arrested over the weekend, TMZ.com reported today.
TMZ showcased video footage of a physical altercation that took place Saturday morning 6/8 at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey. The report states that Red's group and another got into an altercation, complete with video of Red grabbing a stantion and waving it in the air to potentially use it, but in the end, she does not get physically involved.
TMZ reported, "Still unclear what exactly led up to this bruhaha -- but the Port Authority tells TMZ ... Sexyy was ultimately arrested for disorderly conduct -- while a couple others in the fight got booked on assault charges. As for the alleged victims ... we're told they went to the hospital for minor injuries."
There is no word whether WWE was aware of the incident before she appeared on the NXT PPV as the official host.
