TNA NEWS AND NOTES

By Mike Johnson on 2024-06-11 10:21:00

Friday's TNA Against All Odds PPV in Chicago at Cicero Stadium is close to sold out.

Ash By Elegance being brought in for the TNA-WWE NXT crossover over the weekend was a last minute addition, PWInsider.com is told.  Originally, the finish was to have only included Tatum Paxley but the idea of adding someone else as an additional surprise came into the discussion.

As we noted over the weekend, the top TNA officials were in attendance at the event including Executive Producer Ariel Shnerer, who is very much the final say in the day to day of the company.  Since he's taken that post, Shnerer has gotten nothing but good marks for talent for being forthright with them and has slowly but surely gained a good reputation for being consistent and solid in his role.  One source described him as being the guy who has "holds everything together" in recent months while Anthem reconfigures the company.

The belief among those we've spoken with is that Greg Bagarozy has been the point person booking venues for the company in recent weeks.  Bagarozy has worked with ECW and MLW, among other companies in the past and has been working with TNA for quite some time.

There was some talk about Bound for Glory being in Europe a few weeks back, but not sure if that is still the direction.  TNA is touting it as emanating from "One of the Most Visited Cities In The World", which could be Vegas, NYC, London, Toronto, anywhere!

Sami Callihan vs. Jonathan Gresham will take place on the Countdown Show for Against All Odds this Friday.

Frankie Kazarian will be appearing on AXS TV's The Top Ten Revealed:
