Actually, this is a two-pronged question... if RD Evans is out, who is the current TNA Head of Creative? Also, who the heck is the booking team that's left? Thanks.
Tommy Dreamer, Jorge Barbosa and Delirious remain involved. Gail Kim still has an important voice. Ariel Shnerer would be the person in charge of the day to day, but I don't know there is an official "Head" of creative.
Do you think anyone will ever buy the CHIKARA library?
It's possible. I could see it being a good buy if it was a small price but I don't see anyone spending millions on it.
Do wrestlers and promotions ever get made at what you report?
ALL the time. It's part of the job. I have learned over the 20+ years I have done this that I can't take it personally when they do.
A few month ago, Onita announced Dory Funk Jr. for an exploding ring match. You noted it would never happen. Any update on why you said that and whether the match is happening?
I love Dory Funk's work but he's 83. I don't see him getting back in the ring to have an exploding match with pyro and all that carnage. Onita said he wanted to face Dory, not that the match is official. It's not going to happen. I don't see Dory's wife allowing it to happen unlesss it's for a massive payday that they get up front before they get on a plane to Japan. My opinion and I'm sticking with it.
